Thoughts

I'm starting to wonder if anyone even knows what beauty is anymore. It's not just something you experience, its something you feel. It's not just something someone possesses, it's a part of their being. It's something that permeates every part of your movement, your words.
Beauty that is only on the surface is so evident to me. It tastes like tar. It gives you the same feeling you get when you realize that kittens are only kittens for a short time, and they will only play with you, and run into walls and be tiny and beautiful for so long, and while what they will eventually become is more practical, you will always miss that kitten.
Beauty without substance is like that. Pleasant, but so quick to fade, and it never comes back.
